The Tornados - 60's band

The Tornados

The Tornados
60's band
The Tornados today still have Dave Watts on organ, Dave also performed with Billy Fury, Cliff Richard, Geno Washington and Sandie Shaw, the band also features guitarist Shaun Corrigan from the sixties hit makers the Symbols ( the best part of breaking up ), Bassist Pete Gill from sixties band the Rebounds, Jamie Thurston the lead singer, and drummer Tristan Long who has performed alongside acts such as Midge Ure, Deacon Blue, Iron Maiden, Gareth Gates, the Buzzcocks and the Foundations to name a few.

The worldwide number one record TELSTAR performed by the classic 1962 lineup is still a huge selling record in these modern times, the Tornados today do not only play the famous instrumentals but also perform hits by the stars that they backed during the sixties.
